Using the site

Scale Converter is a free tool for working out model sizes, real sizes, scales and map distances. You may use it for personal, educational and commercial work, without an account and at no cost.

Accuracy

We work hard to keep every calculation correct, and the maths is explained on the About us page. However, answers are rounded and depend on the numbers you enter. Scale Converter is provided “as is”, without any warranty.

Always check important measurements yourself before relying on them, especially for construction, engineering, navigation or anything where a mistake could cause harm or cost money.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for any loss or damage that results from using the site or relying on its answers. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• Try to disrupt, overload or break the site
• Copy the site’s design, text or code and present it as your own
• Use automated tools to send large numbers of requests to the site

Ownership

The site’s design, text, illustrations and code belong to Scale Converter. The results of your own calculations are yours to use however you like.

Availability and changes

We may update, change or pause the site at any time. We may also update these terms, and the date at the top will show when they last changed. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current terms.
